 .................................... The Blurb  ....................................
Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath, where immortals Feed on the emotions of despairing humans. Now she's returned- to her old life, her family, her friends- before being banished back to the underworld... this time forever.
She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she can't find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists.
Nikki longs to spend these months reconnecting with her boyfriend, Jack, the one person she loves more than anything. But there's a problem: Cole, the smoldering immortal who first enticed her to the Everneath, has followed Nikki to the mortal world. And he'll do whatever it takes to bring her back- this time as his queen.
As Nikki's time grows short and her relationships begin slipping from her grasp, she's forced to make the hardest decision of her life: find a way to cheat fate and remain on the Surface with Jack or return to the Everneath and become Cole's...

.................................... My Thoughs  ....................................
In Short
- Brodi has put her own twist on the paranormal world.
- Everneath demanded my attention from the first line and kept it throughout the book.
- I straight away liked the main character, Nikki.
- I was able to believe and imagine every sentence Brodi wrote.

In Long
I started Everneath not really having heard that much about it, only that people had enjoyed it but I hadn’t read any reviews or anything on it. I also didn’t know Brodi was a debut author and after reading Everneath I am very excited to see what other books Brodi writes.
Everneath has a bit of everything that you want in a book. It has the strong storyline which is both unique and engrossing, strong characters and an unpredictable end. All of this has come together to make an amazing debut book that will keep you turning the pages right until the end which will leave you wanting more and craving the second book.
Right from the start Everneath started with a gripping first few lines which demanded my attention straight away. I was just hoping that Brodi could keep up with the intense storyline, which she did! Brodi  kept my attention through the whole book and I couldn't once say that my attention faded. The story moves at a quick pace, with twists and turns in every chapter, Brodi is an expert at keeping the reader guessing, I never knew what was going to happen next or what decisions Nikki would make. I felt even more intrguied by how Brodi wrote the book in a way where although I always knew what Nikki was feeling I wasn’t ever able to predict her next move.
Nikki, the main character, was someone who I felt a bond with straight away and although she did make a big mistake I never felt she was a ‘silly little girl who made a silly mistake’. This was really refreshing and added to me really being able to believe everything in the book was real.
The two guys in this book both play their own individual roles and are both very unique in their personalities and actions. I loved that I was able to like them both (even Cole) and found them to be very different from each other but both equally attractive in very different ways.
The storyline, as mentioned above, is a very engrossing one which constantly has something happening. I really loved how refreshing it was and a totally different take on the paranormal world. I haven’t ever read a book like this, Brodi has created a whole new world with so many possibilities.

Final Thoughts
I am sad that I didn’t have more time for this book, I feel if I would have been able to read it in a few days I would have been able to get into the storyline much more. I definitely recommend this book for anyone out there looking for a refreshing paranormal book.
