I love this cover for a number of reasons -
l think it totally stands out!
The colours are amazing. Purple is my favourite colour and l love the use of the different shades of purple.
I love her yellow dress, it makes her stand out and goes well with the purple.
The font is also really cool and l like the position of it, doesn't get in the way of the actual picture.
Makes me think of summer.

ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color, too! I've always liked using purple and yellow together in artsy stuff. Good contrasting colors. This cover really pops :)
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of colours but it looks kind of retro. Maybe that's the point with the title? Purple Daze/Haze? I don't know, lol, I've never heard of this one before!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I remember taking an art class in middle school and studying Contrasting Colors. There's a special color wheel for this. Purple and Yellow are a perfect contrasting match on the spectrum :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I thought this cover was hideous the first time I saw it. I couldn't get passed the yellow and purple. It is starting to grow on me. I am a new follower.
