The Cajun’s Captive is a very small book and didn’t take long to read at all. I found that I was able to very quickly get into the book with some help from the hotness - the males, in the story.
Sebastian is one of those addictive types of characters who seem to have it all; A little mysterious, funny, and handsome as well as having a soft spot for a lady and being sweet with it! Amanda, the main women character, is someone who it took me a while to ‘bond’ with. She seemed to have mixed and confusing feelings, although kind of understandable I found her a bit frustrating at some points due to changing to her mind a lot and making silly mistakes!
The storyline is an interesting one which I have mixed feelings about. I easily felt that Selena could have made this into a longer book and therefore make everything feel a bit more realistic, everything seemed quick rushed and I felt it had potential which it just didn’t live up to. The beginning was definitely my favourite part of the book with all the humour, hotness and being intrigued to know what was going to happen next as well as not feeling that it was rushed. Sadly after that, like I said above, everything just seemed to happen to quick.
