Why l am looking forward t0 Night Star? -
Well after reading the previous books in this series, my reviews are here, Dark Flame really left it on a cliff hanger (Like all the other books had done previously) and have seen pre ordered this book and been waiting for March to come!

  1. I am not a big fan of this series. I got tired of Ever's whiny and poor decision making. Hope you enjoy this one though, just not for me.

  2. While I've seen that this one was one of the more popular authors lately, Alyson Noel's writing just doesn't do to me what it does to all those fans out there.

I don't like her books much, even though I have read them, but I just can't keep tormenting myself with her series when there are so many books out there that are just waiting for me to read them. I don't even have the desire ti find out what happens to Ever and Damon (or Daven or whatever...) because they're just that bland.

But, I do hope that you can enjoy this book. Although I do not understand it, I know that tastes are different, but this just isn't my type of thing.

  3. I'm waiting for this book as well! I read the others in the series and simply can't wait for the next one. I just really hope they can figure out a way to fix Ever and Damon's problem (you know, the "touch" thing) but supposedly Noel will leave it for the final book in the series (I believe there is two or one after Night Star- I'm not sure). Anyway, great pick this week! Happy reading!

  4. Thanks for looking at this post everyone!
I understand why some people can't get into the Immortal series, it's nowhere near my favourite series but like Gina l am wanting them to find a fix for the problem between them and this is what has kept me gripped.
Most of the books in the series are only 3/5 for me as there are some things in the book which annoys me. I can't help but want to read the next one though.

  6. The Storm Before Atlanta
    By Karen Schwabach
    Publication date: December 28, 2010

At a time when most people have grown weary of the war between the states, two young children are desperate to find their way to the battlefields. Jeremy DeGroot wants nothing more than to join a troop as a drummer boy. For Dulcie, a runaway slave, freedom means she must head directly toward the fighting in the hopes that she'll become "contraband," that is, property of the Union troops. Both Jeremy and Dulcie find a place with the 107th New York Volunteer Regiment and even start to forge a friendship. But all that is threatened when they keep crossing paths with the mysterious Charlie, a young Confederate soldier, who may look like the enemy but feels more like a friend.
