.... The Blurb  ....

A #BitterSweetHeat standalone.

Delilah Sage was my comfort within all the pain.
Offering open arms when I needed an escape.
The only one trusted to be there for me.
But our dreams were doomed from the start.
And I left her clinging to false hope.

Regret has plagued me for years.
The memories of Delilah refuse to fade.
Each second of every day, I want to claim her as mine.
But I won’t ruin her life.
And she’s better off without me.

When a job lands me in town, I plan to keep my distance.
My scars are mine alone.
Dredging up the past will only cause deeper damage.
But Delilah has always been my weakness.
And resisting her isn’t an option.

After all, there’s far too much for us to miss.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
Delilah and Raven are two of my favourite female characters ever!
- Zeke, oh Zeke....
- Harloe Rae creates such a real feel between Zeke and Delilah.

In Long
Harloe Rae's skill to create characters that are a complete bundle of everything you want from main characters is special. Both GENT and MISS stand out to me because of her original, real and unique characters which come alive.

Delilah and Raven are two of my favourite female characters ever!! I could not wait to read Miss after finishing Gent purely so I could see more of these together. I absolutely LOVE their friendship and how they are together, everyone needs a best friend like these two. Their teasing back and forth had me laughing all over again, just like in GENT.

Zeke, oh Zeke. Lets focus on him for a minute. Or maybe the rest of the review?! Don't mind me just over here swooning while trying to put words together to create an actual review. I loved getting to know Zeke away from Delilah first, seeing him with his work friends and understanding his background made him even more appealing. I just love how manly he is and seeing him with his friends was HOT.

Zeke and Delilah together are so consuming. I loved seeing these two together and their delicate relationship. Harloe Rae creates such a fascinating feel between these two and she deals with their first meeting just fantastic, creating such an intense scene.

The only thing which made my review a 4.5 and not a 5 was a scene which happens towards the end of the book (hence me not being able to explain properly). I just felt it was a little bit far fetched that someone would blame themselves to that degree.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed MISS and Harloe Rae's writing. I can not wait to read more books by her and I hope I get to see more of Zeke, Delilah, Raven and Trey in other books.
