.... The Blurb  ....
INSTANT ATTRACTION IS A POWERFUL THING.

Six months of dancing around each other
led to one explosive night
and two weeks without a word.

Only then did I learn the truth:
The man I’d wanted since he walked into Sailor’s Grave Tattoo Parlor
was actually an undercover cop.

And the worst part is,
I don’t even know his real name.

BUT WHAT IF ATTRACTION ISN’T ENOUGH?

For over eight months I held back.
Except for that one night when I couldn’t fight it anymore.
I’d wanted her from the beginning,
but I should have kept waiting until my secrets weren’t between us.

Now, I have the ultimate challenge before me:
convince the inked goddess of a receptionist
to at least let me keep her safe,
even if she won’t give me another chance.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- Fast paced storyline which keeps you on the edge.
- I enjoyed seeing Jess and Bradon connect and overcome situations.
- The second characters are all strong with their own roles.

In Long
This is my first book by Drew Elyse and I really enjoyed her writing. She very quickly pulled me in with chapters full of endearing friendships that are so addictive. I absolutely loved seeing Jess with her friends and think I have a soft spot for Sketch.

There are a lot of secondary characters because Sailors Grave is one big family of people who protect and love each other, I became addicted to these group of people. They all have their own strong characteristics and Drew gives each character so much potential for their own stories. You really get to know them all but not in a boring over the top way.

Braden is a character which left me feeling really conflicted. I liked him, he is true to his word and does everything to prove this. I just felt like I never got to actually know HIM. Truly him, not his feeling towards Jess, or about his job. I wanted to know more personality traits. I felt his character just missed something and this is why it's a 4.5/5 for me.

The storyline is fast paced, there wasn't a second where my attention went elsewhere but with Jess and Bradon. I felt on edge, wondering what and when something was going to happen next. Drew often gives you idea that something is going to happen but then something does when you least expect it.

Final Thoughts
Inked has some real twists and turns which will keep you engrossed throughout. If it's not the action it will be the budding friendships between the characters or sexy scenes which will have you feeling hot.

Quotes
'It was touch and go there if I was going to dissolve into a puddle of goo right there.'

'I sensed tension in him like a wild animal stalking his prey.'

'You're going to be the death of me." he swore.'

I don't want to work off of my assumptions and hope I'm getting this right only to find out I was wrong and end up losing you because of it.'
