.... The Blurb  ....

All I ever wanted was family. But one mistake cost me everything I’ve ever worked for.

To get it all back, I’ll have to return home and protect the most stubborn woman on the face of the planet. To do that effectively, I’ll need to go undercover as…a Manny.

I didn’t mean to fall for her or the kid. I really should have known better. When you get this close, it’s easy to get burned.

But I’ll do anything to protect them, even if it costs me everything…again.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- I totally fell for Jax and his charm.
- Neela and Bex had me laughing out loud.
- Thoroughly enjoyed.

In Long
What a little charm of a read was this! I was really pleasantly surprised by 'Protecting the Heiress' and really enjoyed it.

I love how everything was quite gradual in this book, it felt very realistic which made me become almost like a cheerleader for Jax and Neela.

Jax is a fantastic character who has many sides to him, it was a gradual process getting to know him and see all these sides. It was actually very entertaining seeing these different sides slowly coming out and how the people around him reacted. 'He totally charmed my socks off.'

I liked Neela but when she was with her friend, Bex, I loved her. They are just fantastic together, such chemistry between them and totally hilarious. Their banter was one of my favourite things in this book.

The story line is well paced and kept my interest throughout. A lot of the focus was on the characters and their interactions which I really enjoyed as Nana has created brilliant, unique and charismatic characters.

Final Thoughts
I am looking forward to reading Tempting the Heiress and seeing where things go next, I have a feeling things are stepping up!

' I could not get that lopsided, half-smug smile out of my head.'

'Was there a hot-guy factory that would have made more of him?'
