.... The Blurb  ....

This dark tale of obsession, beauty, and lust is by Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Amazon Bestseller Vivian Wood. She writes dark romance as OLIVIA RYANN.

There is something blooming between my captor and I, hot and wet and fragile.
Lust. Obsession. Maybe it’s even love.
But there are still secrets that stand between us, looming large over whatever happiness we might find together.
Dangerous secrets. Things worth killing over.
If I reveal my secret to Dryas, he very well might die to protect me.
The last thing I want is to confront those that hurt me without him at my side.
But I might not get a choice, if Dryas has his way...

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- A dark, desperate read full of emotions.
- This series focuses strongly on two characters which is intense.
- I can't wait to read Protect.

In Long
Possess is a roller coaster of a ride that is full of dark, desperate emotions. .

I have felt like through this series something is missing but now I am wondering if its more the fact there aren't many secondary characters, if any if you don't count one or two who appear a few times. I don't think this necessarily means there is something missing but it's quite intense to have the books focus on these two characters for three books.

Their relationship is so conflicting, full of such intense emotions they just don't know how to feel sometimes, let alone the reader! There actions often contrary to what I think they should be, I feel this challenges me as a reader, in a good way.

There are some holes in the story line which I hope get more cleared up in Protect. I would love to know more about Dryas, I still feel he is a bit of a mystery and definitely don't know as much about him as Rue.

Final Thoughts
This series has taken me on so many rides which I often least expected. I can't wait to read Protect.
