.... The Blurb  ....
*This is NOT a standalone. You need to read Stolen - The Prequel to fully understand this storyline.

My world was hell on earth, son of a man who was evil incarnate.
Hate was all I knew.

When she was stolen, I swore I’d find her.
When I meet her eyes again, I remember what I’m fighting for.
The girl will be mine.
**
I’ve seen true evil, held captive by the devil himself.
And now revenge is all I know.

Everything was stolen from me. Until him.
When my eyes meet his, I’m caught in his web.
Each moment that passes only confirms what I already know—I’m his.

*This is a dark romance. Due to scenes of an adult nature, this book is for 18+ ONLY. That’s the only warning you’ll get

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- I was gripped from the first page.
- It's dark, gritty and gripping.
- I need more of Drake and Caia.

In Long
I was gripped from the first page right until the end. The writing leaves you gasping for another word, another page, another chapter. I just couldn't put the book down!

The writing is so engaging, the characters are so real and the story line so gripping. I loved even more how it's not just the main two characters which were well developed but all of the characters, for me this is always a winner and makes the book so much more engaging.

There are a lot of the characters thoughts and in depth ones at that. This meant I really got to know them, especially Drake, my opinion completely changed of him.

Dani is a fantastic author who I will definitely be reading more of and ensuring I don't miss any new books of hers. I am holding out for The Taken #2.

Final Thoughts
I wasn't sure what to expect from Severed after reading Stolen but I know if I had expected anything it would have gone way above my expectations! I was completely gripped by Severed.

Quotes
'Without them, I'm not sure I'll be able to survive. But with them, I may be  broken even more. I just need to decide which is the lesser of the two evils.'

'You remind me of the bird. Beautiful, yet darkness seems to consume you. Exquisite, but can be as violent as a bird of prey. It can devour the dead, but also shimmer in the sunlight.
