Here some 'Christmasy' reads if you want to get in the mood for Christmas!
All l want for Christmas - Amy Silver

Amy Silver Twelve days and counting… It’s Bea’s first Christmas with her baby son, and this year she’s determined to do everything right. But there is still so much to do: the Christmas menu needs refining; her café, The Honey Pot, needs decorating; and she's invited the whole neighbourhood to a party on Christmas Day. She really doesn’t have time to get involved in two new people’s lives, let alone fall in love… When Olivia gets knocked over in the street, however, Bea can’t help bringing her into The Honey Pot and getting to know her. Olivia’s life is even more hectic than her own, and with her fiancé’s entire family over from Ireland for Christmas, she shouldn’t be lingering in the cosy warmth of Bea’s café. Chloe, on the other hand, has nowhere else to go. Her affair with a married man has alienated her friends, and left her lonelier than ever. But Christmas is a magical time, and in the fragrant atmosphere of The Honey Pot, anything can happen: new friends can be made, hearts can heal, and romance can finally blossom…

Felicity Heaton - Vampire for Christmas

It was one last mission. Shannon, a demon hunter with the agency, is looking forward to leaving behind the small town and the vampire she’s been stuck with for the past two years. Things are getting complicated fast and she wants out. A fresh start, free of her vampire partner, awaits her if she can survive their final mission and the lonely Christmas holidays.

It was one last mission. Rafe, a vampire doing time with the agency, watches it approach with dread weighing heavily in his stomach. Two years of working with Shannon has been difficult, especially since he started falling for her, but he doesn’t want their partnership to end. He has barely a few days to make her face her feelings and stop her from leaving, and he intends to do just that.

When a slimy demon threatens the season of peace and goodwill, it’s the chance Rafe has been waiting for and the moment Shannon secretly fears. Rafe’s determination to prise open her heart and her own resolve to keep it closed clash as violently as they do with the demon, and threatens to end as messily.

Can Rafe make Shannon see that his love for her is real and that she feels something for him too? Can Shannon face her fears and her past, and stop herself from running away from both? Will a wish on a star bring her what her heart truly desires—a vampire for Christmas?

The Blurb :
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

My Review :
I have been waiting to read this book ever since l started to read paranormal books a few months back and therefore had high exceptions. I have to say this book didn't live up to all my exceptions but yet l did really enjoy this book. As my ratings show this book wasn't a great page turner or plot just because of the lack of fast paced action in the book which only came at the end of the story. This is definitely a book which needs a follow on because it's mainly about getting to know the characters even though l did enjoy getting to know Lucinda and the other characters.
The main reason l enjoyed this book is how different l find it from any other paranormal book which l have read, l really enjoyed reading something unique, especially after having read 'Angel - L.A. Weatherly' l was a bit nervous they would be to alike.

Novembers book of the month

This book has been a successful month for me, both in quantity and quality which therefore makes this hard to choose Novembers book of the month.
Well any way here it goes :
Crescendo - Becca Fitzpatrick
Becca really makes this book shine out from the rest of the books on a book shelf but as if you would even need to look at the cover, for me all l needed to know was that this book is a next instalment of 'Hush Hush' and l brought it straight away.
This book really did not disappoint and even IMPROVED from Hush Hush. Becca made sure she stood out from the rest of hundreds of paranormal books which are currently out there.
If you missed my review check it out here. Let me know your thoughts on this book and if you haven't read it, ask someone to get it for Christmas!
