The Blurb:
Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste . . .
Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is. Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

My Review :
This book is really borderline with being either 3 stars or 4 stars and l am finding it hard to chose. I came to my decision because although l really enjoyed this book and it continues my run of great books which l have read, this book doesn't quite compare to the other books l have read lately. This including 'Shiver', 'Crescendo', 'Linger' purely for me because it doesn't have any very fast paced scenes in it which made my heart beat fast and me totally gripped. In fact l read the end of this book by dipping in and out of it and didn't find it impossible to put down.
Even though this didn't have the 'grip' factor l still really enjoyed this book, mainly because although its getting harder for a book to be unique with the more paranormal books l read and l was watching the first 5 episodes of The Vampire Diaries while reading this and they are VERY a like l also found it had its own way to stand out. I think this is because you get to know the main character, Ever, very quickly and learn about her past in detail.
My next read the 'Blue Moon' which is the next in series of Alyson Noels Immortals series - Watch out for the review! =)
