Here, Home, HopeHere, Home, Hope - Kaira Rouda
I won this one a while a go. To be honest I can't remember from which blog but I was excited when I got it as it's the sort of book I would have read a while ago but don't any more. I was eager to see if I would still like this sort of book, although I am sure I will!
Anyway, as I am sure you know as this is a The Time Will Come post, I still haven't read this!
Since it has gone to the neglected shelf. Well one of the three shelves which is behind another row of books therefore I often even forget what books are behind there! Bad, I know. Books are my addiction!

Blogger Guest Post : This or That?

Please welcome Vicky from Books, Biscuit & Tea to Books for Company!

Thanks so much Vicky for joining us =)

Hello, it's Vicky from Books, Biscuits & Tea. I'm a 21 year-old English major and I'm from Hungary, Europe. I love reading and I have a huuuuge weakness for buying books. Just give me a good book, a hot cuppa and some biscuits and I’m the happiest girl in the world. I read mostly fiction, mystery, chick lit and YA, but I love the classics as well. My all-time favourite authors include Agatha Christie, Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella, Sue Townsend and Rosamunde Pilcher.
I started blogging at the end of September so I'm quite new to all this but I do my best to get into it. :) I created Books, Biscuits & Tea because I'd like to keep track of the books I read, I'd like to make friends who are just as crazy about books as I am and because it's fun! I usually post reviews and guest posts but I also take part in weekly events hosted by fellow bloggers. I hope you'll like my blog and I'm looking forward to hearing from you all - feel free to drop me a line! :)

Books - Where would you rather be able to read out of these places.
Bed or Sofa? - Bed. I love to curl up in bed with a warm blanket and a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate!
Beach or Mountains? - Mountains. Although I do love being at the beach, I prefer reading somewhere more quiet.
Garden or Inside? - Inside.
Car or Bus? - It's a tricky one- buses have been my worst enemies ever since I remember. I suffer from motion sickness so I can't read on either of them, but cars are a little bit better. :-)
Park or Cafe? Park.
Bench or Grass? - Bench.

Random
Chocolate or Crisps? - Crisps! I've never loved chocolate the way people usually do, I've always preferred sweets. And crisps!
Light or Dark? - Dark. I'm a night owl!
Past or Future? - Future.
Fruit or Vegetables? - Easy peasy! Fruit. :-)
Fantasy or Reality? - A little bit of both, but I prefer reality.
Big or Small? - Small.

My thoughts (Jodie) : Don't you think reading on a beach is always overrated? It sounds good and amazing until you get there and realise there is an annoying thing called sand which gets all in your book and on you! When I saw your answer was mountains I was quite shocked but I pretty much agree! Thanks for joining us Vicky! =)

Waiting on Wednesday (#41)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted at Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

UnforgettableUnforgettable - Loretta Ellsworth
Published : 27th September 2011
Publisher : Walker Books
I love love love the sound of this!
I didn't actually realise it's out yet. I thought it wasn't out for a while but it has been out for 'ages' now.
Shame that there isn't many reviews on Goodreads for me to read, there is some positive ones but a lot of 3 stars, so average. Would still like to give this one a go and it sounds like something I would love. Think it so depends on how the author gets the character's emotions across as I am sure this is a very emotional strong book.

The Blurb :
Baxter Green isn’t like everyone else. While most people would forget about the little details of everyday life, Baxter never forgets—not pain, not hurt, not embarrassment. In fact, Baxter never forgets anything—not even a string of account numbers, flashed before his eyes by his mother’s criminal boyfriend, Dink, for use in a credit card scam. Years after his testimony has locked Dink away, Baxter and his mother are in a new town, trying to forget the danger Dink brought into their lives. Baxter wants to hide his unique ability, but it becomes increasingly more difficult when he reconnects with Hallie, a girl from his childhood who has lived on in his memory long after she has forgotten him. Can Baxter win Hallie’s heart? Loretta Ellsworth’s newest novel is one readers will never forget.

October 2011 Round Up

Stats
My Aim : 10 Books
Total number of read books : 7
Average : A book every 4 days

Comments
This is the same as last month (and probably the same for the past few months). I seriously need to get my 'bum into gear' and read more! Sims 3 pets came out so I shamefully blame some on that. I need to read 16 more books to make my 100 book aim so that's 8 for the next 2 months! Can I do it?!

Book of October
I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)
There wasn't a certain book which was a 'WOW WOW WOW' book this month but I still read books which I really loved! I am Number Four was one of those.

Favourite Cover
As I Wake
I LOVE this cover! It's so unique and definitely stands out. I love how it portrays a bit about the book in such a subtle way.

My Life Through A Picture #6

What is My life ; A Picture?
I love pictures and I am obsessed with them so I thought every week for 4 weeks I would show you a picture which has some sort of memory and I will then tell you about that memory =)

23-10-11
This is the second picture from my 'Grampy's Goodbye'
We went to a pub afterwards for a buffet and to see everyone who had gone to the funeral. It was really nice and relaxed =)
My mum and auntie each did a picture frame for the pub =)
 I loved all these pictures!
