I am struggling to find the words to review this book, I feel I am actually in shock and just don't know how to feel or what to think. I don't know how K. Webster does it but she seems to be an expert at creating a character who is such a monster but one, at the same time, you can't help but become attached to. It makes me feel 'wrong', unsure of myself. The talent to make a reader feel what I did throughout this book is a rare talent but the reason I love books.
The twists and turns in this book is one you just can't see coming. Often I felt exactly like Natalie, left in the dark, alone and unsure of herself.
Natalie is a beautiful, innocent, broken, touching, ruined character that pulls at all my heart strings. She honestly broke my heart and I felt helpless reading this book, I just wanted to pull her to safety.
Cole is everything he says he is, including a monster. That said he is also much more, he is very complex and seeing into his past let me see another side to him, one which makes him easier to understand yet still a mystery.
Cold Cole Heart is intense, haunting yet so addictive.
