.... The Blurb  ...

TO: The guy who dumped me because of my career
FROM: The woman hired to advance yours
RE: I am 150,000% over you.
Alastair,

I’m on the 11:14 train out of London, so I’ll be there by 3:00. To make this as painless as possible, I thought it would help to establish key ground rules:
1. No rehashing our past relationship. Yes, we were engaged, but it’s been twelve years and I’m over you.
2. I’m very good at my job and that job is to help you shed the “reclusive” part of the whole “reclusive rock star” vibe you’ve got going on. Brace yourself.
3. My plan is to have this wrapped up by Friday, so save your smoldering looks until I’m gone, please. (I assume you still smolder?) I’m immune now. See item #1.
4. My cousin is getting married and guess who's a bridesmaid? Funny, huh? Almost as funny as the fiancée you dumped because you thought she was married to her job now saving yours.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Except almost. That one time.
Remi

P.S. Have I mentioned I’m totally, completely 150,000% over you?

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
Maid in England is a charming and sweet read.
- Alastair is a closed book and wouldn't have liked to get to know him more.
- Remi and Alastair go on a real soul searching journey.

In Long
Maid in England is a sweet book which charmed my socks off. There are some irresistibly sweet scenes which makes you want to say 'aww' a loud.

It is a slower paced book and because of this it took me a while to get in to and I felt like I didn't click much with the two main characters. That said they both do go on a journey in this book and Remi is hopelessly innocent and funny in many scenes.

Alastair is quite a closed book through much of this book and I felt like maybe it just took too long for his character to come out more because, when it did, I really enjoyed this read much more.

Despite the many sweet scenes I really did crave a bit more steam and chemistry. I felt like they just needed a lift me up between them and this could have been the answer. Something was missing for me and maybe this would have made them feel a bit more intense.

Final Thoughts
Maid in England isn't one which had me holding my breath and although, for me, it didn't have that wow factored, I still enjoyed this charming, sweet read with two characters which went on a life changing journey together.

Quotes
'Because the truth is, I can't solve this puzzle either, but damn if it doesn't feel like the pieces of my heart are clicking into place.'

He loves hard

CADE
I’ve loved her since we were five years old.

But I broke us.
I broke her.
So, she fled.
Now she’s back after twelve long years.
And I’m going to show her all the reasons why we should be together and make her forget all the reasons why we shouldn’t.

INDY
I’m back in town but only because I have to be.
I’m here to help my mom bury my father.
And the sooner we get it done, the better.
Because I want to see Cade as much as I want a hole in the head.

.... The Blurb  ....

It was all fun and games until it wasn’t. Lies, deceit, and jealousy threaten to tear the three of us apart. We can have it all, but that’s not as easy as it sounds.

Ben
I never thought I’d show my best friend that side of me, but I had to take my one shot or regret it forever.

Luc
It was only supposed to be one night of something I didn’t understand and never wanted, but it became so much more.

Georgie
They want me to choose, but I want them both. They just have to admit they want it, too.

The thing about us? We can make it work...even if we have to fight to keep it together.

**The Thing About Us is a MMF Menage romance and is intended for mature readers over 18. It is a standalone.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- Jennifer has created unforgettable characters.
- All three characters bring their own spin to the book.
- The bedroom scenes are HOT, 5 stars!

In Long
Well, where do I even start? The chemistry in this book has blown me away and left me speechless.

For me, I really believe that a book can have the most amazing story line but without the characters it's 'empty', this book is an amazing example of that ; although lets just quickly clear up what I mean by that. This book isn't 'flat' when it comes to the story line, far from, instead this book just revolves around the characters and their journey. The story line IS their journey and for that you really have to have a talent as an author to create strong, interesting and unforgettable characters. This is exactly what Jennifer has done.

Georgie is a brilliant, intriguing, conflicted character who slowly unravels throughout the book. I loved getting to know her more because she is quite a closed book in some ways so the suspense was there when it came to getting to know her.

Ben wasn't more open as such but he definitely had a lot of emotions which bubbled to the surface quicker than with Georgie. It was like constant fireworks when it came to these three and I just couldn't get enough. Luc was a strong but not indestructible which made him real and interesting.

The saucy scenes were a huge surprise, there aren't many books which are as hot and intense as these. I honestly never thought I would find a MMF book one which I would enjoy but I loved being proved wrong.

Final Thoughts
The Thing About Us is a fascinating, whirlwind of a story that just keeps giving. I was blown away going on this journey with Georgie, Ben and Luc in this fast paced book that is charged with emotion and twists from start to finish.

Quotes
''Love beat down all the demons that my family gave me and replaced them with... cupids and hearts and sh*t.'

'What started as a seed of doubt has grown into a full-sized tree, blocking my path to her.'

Book Blurb:
Imogen There is no way we can still love and cherish one and other. Before the infertility. We’ll be divorced long before death does us part. But to secure my place in the family dynasty, there is just one more hoop I have to jump through. And I need him to do it. Faking the marriage we once thrived in will gut me. Especially with the secret I’m carrying. Theo I would have sacrificed for her until the end of time. My job. My home. My happiness. I’d given it all up to marry her. That’s how much I loved Imogen Weston, the daughter to one of the world’s richest families. From the day we met, I’d done nothing but try to live up to the man she expected to be with. And now, I was done. Sure, I’d complete this one final ask of hers, even if it destroyed me. But I’ve made her promise the one thing that might save me. She swore that after she got everything she ever wanted, she wouldn’t look back. I made my wife vow to leave me forever.

.... The Blurb  ....

Gage Bryant has the best hands and the quickest feet of any wide receiver in football.

He also has a secret—one he’ll do anything to protect.

He’s a member of The Velvet Club. With airtight non disclosure agreements, playing at Velvet gives him the freedom to assert his dominance and control in a way that not only serves him on the football field, but the way he craves in the bedroom.

What he doesn’t expect is for his most recent partner to be one of the reporters assigned to follow him around in the weeks before he opens a new wing at the local children’s hospital.

When it’s clear Elizabeth Hayes has no idea he’s the man who had her blindfolded and bound beneath him, Gage realizes things just got a lot more interesting.

He can have her body at night, giving her all the pleasure she begs for in a way he needs. And he can keep his heart, as well as his identity, out of their encounters.

After all, the absolute worst thing that could happen would be to have this sexy little reporter reveal how wicked he truly is.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- Wicked Player is full of intense scenes with great chemistry.
- You can't not fall in love with Gage.
- Her characters have great depth.

In Long
Oh how it will take me a long time to cool down after finishing Wicked Player. It is HOT!

This is a fun but also heart warming story which is told from both characters POV. For me,  having chapters from both POVs always means I am able to bond with both characters quickly and this was true for Wicked Player. I quickly loved both Gage and Elizabeth, they are both passionate, caring and hard working people.

If you read this book and don't fall in love with Gage I will seriously question if you have a heart. I mean he is the DREAM. Perfect, too perfect, dream and dream about him I will!

Stacey's writing is everything I love about these sort of romance stories. Her character's carry such depth which projects emotions onto the reader before you even truly know the characters.

Final Thoughts
Wicked Player combines everything. It has such intense scenes with amazing chemistry, characters with depth and a great story line which is paced perfectly.
