.... The Blurb  ....
Blinded by anger, the man who had sworn to protect me,
shot me in a fit of rage when I was only sixteen years old.

He thought he killed me.
But my job wasn’t finished yet.

My days are spent as President of the Heavens Guardians MC.
Nights are spent searching for the scum of the earth.

Rapists, Murderers, Pedophiles.
They all answer to me.

I thought I’d seen it all.
Thought my heart couldn’t be any darker.
Thought I knew exactly how far I was willing to go.

Then a battered and broken woman was found behind our clubhouse,
and I realized, I’ve never had a clue about the monster that lurks within.

They may call me Priest,
but I’d sell my soul to the devil before I let anything take her away from me.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- This started with a bang.
- Washed in Blood is an insta love romance which I was on the fence about.
- Priest and Willow were perfect together despite their flaws.

In Long
Wow this book started with a bang and had me gripped from the first few pages. It was really a spin on the MC type stories and I really liked this. The ending also blew me away!

Washed In Blood is an insta love romance with an MC story line. I am on the fence with insta love and sometimes like it while others I don't. I felt Washed in Blood would have actually worked better with a little more development between the characters before things got as full on as they did. I actually craved to see Priest's 'bad boy' side more but he spent nearly all the book a little teddy bear. Yea I know, not a bad thing as such, but I just felt we only got one side because it was so insta with Willow.

That said Priest was perfect for Willow and just wanted she needed. To see their relationship was intense, they both have such flaws and devastating history but together they are able to put this aside and create something strong which has such chemistry and can get past all those flaws.

Final Thoughts
Washed in Blood is Ashley Lane's first book and in this series, I look forward to reading the rest of the series and more by Ashley.
