.... The Blurb  ....
She calls it a devil’s bargain. I call it a deal she can’t refuse.

I was owed a debt and I expected payment.

That payment?
One night in my bed. My rules. The debt cleared, and she could walk away.

There are worse things. And besides, debtors can’t be choosers.

The night started as it should. She obeyed as she should.

But then something happened. Something I was wholly unprepared for. And what I saw changed everything.

I broke my own rules after that. And I didn’t keep my end of the bargain.

Because walking away was no longer an option I would grant her, no matter the cost.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- Natasha Knight is a must read for me.
- The bedroom scenes and the chemistry was out of this world.
- The darkness was addictive.

In Long
Whenever I see a new book by Natasha Knight it's a must read for me, and this is why!!

Hawk was a brilliant character. I didn't always liked him and he is a dark character but I loved this, I love a character with pushes the boundaries without over stepping.

Melissa is a character with a story to tell, she has been through a lot in her time and her story really adds to the tense story line.

The chemistry in the bed room scenes were full of explosions, every single time. I honestly couldn't read these scenes fast enough, they were on fire.

The first half of the book was quite intense between the two main characters which I loved, the darkness was addictive and I felt it had a good balance with the darkness but not pushing it too far.
The second half the book felt very different to the first. I liked the new characters introduced and felt this really stepped up the story line.

The only thing I felt a bit 'stumped' by was how a certain part of the story was dealt with. I felt like I needed more information on something which was built up and then dealt with quickly..trying to watch what I say without giving away spoilers!

Final Thoughts

I can't wait for more by Natasha.
