.... The Blurb  ...

I’m an all-or-nothing man—100 percent focused on whatever has my attention.

First it was serving my country in the Special Forces. Then it was building my business. Right now it’s the hot blonde at the bar who’s about to become another notch on my bedpost.

But women never keep my attention for more than a night.

Until I peel off Skylar Anderson’s clothes and her mask starts to crumble, showing me glimpses of the girl she’s hiding. She’s funny, sexy and vulnerable and throws me out of bed before I can catch my breath and suggest breakfast.

When I start my last undercover job on a yacht, turns out, she’s one of the crew. I try, but I can’t look away.

Her high ponytail shows off her kissable neck that tastes like summer.

Her short uniform reveals the killer legs that were wrapped around me last night.

And her provocative smile? I know what that mouth is capable of.

I want to explore her body, discover her secrets and sail off into the sunset with her.

I might want to go all in for Skylar, but she should stay away from me. I’ve got secrets of my own and they can only bring her trouble.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
The Wrong Gentleman is a well written book.
- The story line is a slower paced read.
- Over half way in to the book things stepped up and I became a lot more interested.

In Long
The Wrong Gentleman has great potential and is written well book but was too slow paced for me. I found I struggled to bond with the characters which is important with a slower paced read to keep your interest.

I felt they were missing chemistry between Landon and Skylar and needed a bit more quirkiness, fun or something between them.

Skylar is a hard working, caring character who I did like but craved more depth from her, I felt like a lot of her time, too much, is spent thinking and re going over her family's history and why she needs to avoid men.
Landon showed more personality and I totally admire his caring and selfless ways. His a strong character who I came to really like.
I enjoyed Skylar's friend, August, but really wished there was more chemistry between them and scenes because alone I really liked August, I felt this was another missed opportunity to add some depth to the characters though.

At 70% things stepped up for the characters and I really enjoyed got in to the rest of the book, it just needed that little bit of drama

Final Thoughts
As I said, it's a well written book which had a unique sparkle to it I just would have liked a little more drama.

Quotes
' The sun went down some time ago. Far more interesting things happen after dark.'

'She might be a women I was prepared to go all in for.'
