.... The Blurb  ....

Someone is going to pay.
But who?

CADE
They took someone from me.
And I’m going to make them pay.
In blood.
But before I can do that, I have to make sure my girl is safe.
And I will do whatever I have to, even break my own heart, to make sure she survives.
Because she is my queen.
My everything.

INDY
He’s changed.
His grief is overwhelming and I can feel the gap widening between us.
Someone is coming after the Kings of Mayhem MC.
And we are trapped as they play out their evil scheme.
Because under the cover of darkness, they are coming for each of us, one by one, to play out their own twisted vendetta.
And no one is safe.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- You get thrown into a highly emotional situation from the get go.
- I was really intrigued to see how Cade and Indy handled everything.
- Although a lot does happen but I felt it lacked some intensity.

In Long
Brothers in Arms started where Kings of Mayhem finished and straight away throws you into a highly emotional situation which is incredibly difficult for both Indy and Cade. I really liked the character which died in the first book so I found I had tears in my eyes seeing how much it effected both characters. Emotions were definitely running high.

The different ways which Indy and Cade dealt with their grief felt really well thought out by Penny and also very realistic, it was really interesting to see how they both reacted.

A lot happens early on in this book and things start as they mean to go on, things never seem to slow down and the story line is fast paced. That said I did feel like Brothers in Arms lacked a little intensity despite all that was going on I wanted to feel more emotion, more on the edge of my seat.

I enjoyed spending time with Cade and Indy and enjoyed all the scenes with them together and seeing them both battle their demons.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed Brothers in Arms and it's characters, especially Indy.
