The Time Will Come #10

My new meme -

Basically every Thursday l am going to list a book which l really want to read/keep meaning to get to. These are all books which have been on my shelf for awhile now but don't have to be, maybe you got it two weeks ago and really want to read it! Or even a book you have had on your shelf for a while but aren't sure about.

Angelfire - Courtney Allison Moulton

I have had this book from when it was first put on netgalley and so many times l have gone to read it and then been unsure. Just because l always have another book which needs to be read more and to be honest, this isn't the sort of book l would usually read. The reason l do want to get to it soon is because l have heard such good things about it from many bloggers and really don't want to miss out!

I think maybe when the kindle button is back on netgalley this will be one of the first l read!

Waiting on Wednesday (#12)

Waiting on Wednesday
"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Crossed - Ally Condie
I was so excited about Matched and although it wasn't one of my favourite books l did enjoy it and loved the world which was created by Ally. I feel that this book will be much better than Matched as the world is now set out to the readers which will mean more 'action' can be in this book! l felt for Matched it had so much explaining to do that not much happened. l do hope things which were explained in Matched are explained in Crossed though.

Paperback or Hardback? (#13)

Magic Study - Maria V.Synder

>> Hardback

Paperback <3 <<

This book has a rather lot of different covers! I don't love any of them but the PB version that l chose for this post is my favourite. l love the colours and the font on the PB.

For the HB, l don't think there is anything l could say that l like, it looks really old fashioned and l don't like the colour theme.

My Name Is Memory - Ann Brashares

>>Hardback

Paperback <3 <<

Again, l don't LOVE either of these but l do like the PB more just because l think it sets the right

theme for the book. The HB makes it look like a cheery summer read which  l wouldn't say it is. Also l love the PB's background and the birds!

Once A Witch - Carolyn MacCullough

>> Hardback

Paperback <<

I like both these covers, l think they are cute but simple and give the book a feeling of mystery! I can't really choose between them as l like them for different reasons. I like the HB because of the colours and how they aren't bright but still stand out. l like the PB because of the scenery, font! Probably if l was going to buy one or the other (this is on my kindle!) l would buy the HB.

Let me know what you think of these covers and which you prefer!
.
Please note the Paperback and Hardback detail might not always be right. E.g The paperback cover could also be in HB and other way round.

Mermaid - Carolyn Turgeon

This is one of those very pretty covers which l love purely because of how girly it is! There isn't really anything that l can say l dislike about this! I love the font and the placement of the writing although l do think the tagline takes up quite a lot of room, l still like it!

Also the sparkles which go around the writing is always a winner for me (and l know also for a lot of my blogger friends!)
