In Short
- Tangled Web didn't grab me as much as I hoped.

In Long
I absolutely loved Aleatha's 'Web of Sins' series so I couldn't wait to start this new series, sadly this series didn't grab me as quickly or much as Web of Sins series did.
I felt Twisted really had potential but just'missed the mark' for me. The story line was really well thought out and I think there is a lot to come with the story line when it comes to the rest of the series but I really needed more in Twisted to grab me that little bit more.
The main characters are Laurel and Kader. The book is mostly written from Laurel's POV and for me this mean't I struggled with Kader, i really craved more of him and to get to know him more instead of the 'there and now' I felt we got. Laurel was easier to get to know with most being from her POV and I liked her character.
I really wanted much more of the characters together than we got, I felt there was great potential for more fireworks than there were.

Twisted is a slower paced book which has introduced a series with great potential. I look forward to seeing where things go.
