.... The Blurb  ....
Samantha Brooks stands onstage as the curtain rises. Her dreams are coming true. She doesn’t know her nightmare is coming too.

The spotlight lands on Samantha Brooks. Years of practice build to the opening night of a global tour. She plays her heart out, but there are darker forces underneath the stage.

There are eyes watching from the wings.

Liam North fights to keep her safe with every weapon he owns. She’s his greatest pride — and his greatest weakness. The danger comes from somewhere no one expected. Betrayal threatens to destroy everything he’s built. His business. His family. His life.

When the curtain falls, only one of them will be left standing.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- Liam is an addictive mix of alpha and hero.
- I love the battle of willpower's between both characters.
- The secondary characters really added to the book.

In Long
I could not wait to read Concerto after finishing Overture. Spending more time with Liam will always be a want, he is an alpha male but a hero, which is just an addictive mix.

I am finding the battle of willpower's between both characters really engrossing, its such a tug of war between them, not knowing who is going to back down next.

I liked getting to know some secondary characters and especially liked getting to know Josh a bit more in Concerto. I really hope he gets his own book, i feel like I already know him quite a bit just from the limited time we see him in Concerto.

The story line was a slower build up i felt but I really love the characters so much I enjoyed to get to know them, especially Samantha who I felt like her character really shone through.

Final Thoughts
This series is really different, it's written really well and engaging, I feel invested in their relationship and seeing where things go next.

Quote
'The stage was both my freedom and my cage.'

'He was more than my guardian - he was the axis around which I spun.'
