.... The Blurb  ....
In a world ravaged with violence, I still think about the beauty who was taken from me. I’ve turned rabid in her absence. The dormant beast she had tamed is ravenous, feeding on brutality and bloodshed.

I focus on the kill, until Arthur confesses his trump card, shattering every hope I had of reclaiming her. Focused on the job at hand, I step into the lion’s den, only to find nothing is as it seems.

My beast hungers to be satiated.
And my beauty is the only one who can feed it.

A dark treacherous journey where happily ever after may be just out of reach.

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
- I didn't want to put it down for one second.
- I loved Lance, addictive bad boy.
- I wish there were more scenes with the two main characters in TOGETHER.

In Long
Dani Rene is a one click author for me, I don't even read the blurb (but of course I do!) before I know its a must read. Her writing always grips me from the first page and Beautifully Brutal was no different, I did not want to put it down.

I straight away fell for Lance. His a typical alpha bad boy that Dani writes so well. You know what he does is wrong on so many levels but you can't stop yourself from falling. He has this vibe about him which makes him so addictive on every level.

Giuliana is an easy character to like and I enjoyed getting to know her a lot. She wears her 'heart on her sleeve' but this doesn't mean she is weak in any sense.

The story line is fast paced which for most of the book made it hard to put down. I did however crave more 'time' in some places in the book, well certain scenes.

With Beautifully Brutal I craved more of Lance and Giuliana together. I felt like I got a glimpse in to them as a couple but I wanted more scenes, the chemistry was there in the scenes but a lot of the book is spent with them apart and with this being their only book I did finish it a little disappointed. .

Final Thoughts
A great start to this series, Dani is the perfect author to start a series off and create excitement around it. Job done in my eyes!
