.... The Blurb  ...

If madness has a name...it's hers.

She is an artist seeking solace.
He is a serial killer seeking vengeance.

She doesn't remember.
He remembers it all.

She is broken.
He is obsessed.

She wants truth.
He wants revenge.

One of them is guilty.
One of them is innocent.

Both of them want to win.
And for that one of them has to die.

Warning: Dark Romance

.... My Thoughts   ...
In Short
Micaden's Madness is a different style book which is best to go in blind.
- The back and forth between past and present kept the tempo of the book high.
- V.F. throws a lot of curve balls.

In Full
I am a big fan of V.F. Mason after reading Kaznachei's Pain. Micaden's Madness was very different but I really loved how V.F. Mason has written such a different style book.

Micaden's Madness was very different from what I expected and it's actually a hard review to write because the blurb gives away so little and I want to keep it that way. It's one of those books which is best to go in blind, I really don't want to ruin anything.

It's told in present and the past through flashbacks. This really keeps the tempo of the book up. The constant back and forth definitely kept my attention as well as between the two characters just keeps you on egg shells the whole time.

I found I started to think or feel one thing and then V.F. would go, 'Oh no, you're wrong, here's a curve ball!'. I just couldn't make assumptions because my goodness, there is a lot of twists and turns. I was a fool to think the story line was predictable because it's one with so many tangled, messed up extras.

Final Thoughts
Micaden's Madness is a fast paced book full of twists. I can't wait to read more by V.F. Mason.

Quotes
'But once the person savours her.... he's addicted, with no way out of his insanity.'

'With every temptation comes the price to pay. And I am fucking done being the only one who pays for it.'

'And like every fisherman, I fell for it, and lost my soul to her.'
